』(보고체계를 거치시오)라고 했다.여기서 channels는 the appropriate chain of command(올바른 지휘계통)라는 말이다.『You'll nee d to go through channels.』와 비슷한 표현으로는 『Don't go over your supervisor's head.
』(상관을 건너뛰지 마라)가 있다.
