직역하면 '여러 개의 모자를 쓰다'가 되니, 한 사람이 여러 명의 일을 한꺼번에 바쁘게 하는 것을 가리키는 재밌는 표현입니다.

A:I can't believe how busy I'm getting at work these days.
B:Yeah, you seem really busy. What're you tied up with?
A:Jose is on vacation this week and Peter called in sick today. You know, somebody has to fill in.
B:You're apparently wearing several hats.
A:So, does that mean you're willing to share my work?
B:Not necessarily. I'm not as talented as you.

A:요즘 회사에서 정말 얼마나 바쁜지 모르겠어.
B:그래, 너 정말 바쁜 것 같애. 왜 그렇게 바쁜건데?
A:호세는 휴가 중이고 피터는 오늘 아파서 결근했어. 알다시피 누군가는 채워야 하니까.
B:너 진짜 여러 사람 몫을 하는구나.
A:그럼 내 일을 좀 나눠줄까?
B:그건 아니지. 난 너처럼 능력이 뛰어나지 못한걸.
