Could you make some copies? 사무실에서근무하는 사람이면 업무상 복사기를 사용하는 분이 많을 것이다.
영어로 『이것들을 좀 복사해 주시겠습니까?』라고 하려면 『Could you make some copies?』라고 하면 된다.이와 유사한 표현에 『Could y ou burn a fewcopies?』등이 있다.참고로 「복사하다」에 해당하는 단어로「xerox」를 쓰기도 하는데 「xerox」는 원래 복사기의 대표적인 상표 이름이지만 동사로 『Could you xeroxthese?』(이것들 을 좀 복사해 주시겠습니까?)처럼 사용되기도 한다.또한 「복사기」를 「copy machine」또는 「xerox machine」이라고도 한다.
