[영어한마디]947.요즘 얼굴 보기 힘드네요

자주 만나지 못한 사람에게 "요즘 얼굴 보기 힘들다. " 고 하는데, 영어로는 "I haven't seen much of you lately." 라는 표현을 쓴다.

여기서 'see much of' 는 '자주 보다' 는 의미로, 보는 횟수나 빈도를 의미한다.

"I haven't seen much of you lately." 와 비슷한 표현으로 "You're not around these days." "It's hard to catch you these days." "It is currently difficult to reach you." 등이 있다.

A:Have you been out of town?

B:No. I've been in Seoul all month.

A:That's strange. I haven't seen much of you lately.
