I'm a regular here.
사람마다 취향이 달라 자주 가는 술집이나 음식점이 있는데 우리말로.단골'을.regular' 또는.regular'를 형용사로 써.regular customer'라고 한다.
가령 “I'm a regular here.
I come here all the time.”하면“난 여기단골이야.항상 여기 오거든.”이란 뜻이고,“I'm a regular here.They know what I'll have.
”하면“난 여기 단골이야.내가 뭘 먹을지 알거든.”이란 뜻이다.“I'm a regular here.”와 비슷한 표현에“Ifrequent this place.”“I often comehere.”“I come by here a lo t.” “I patronize this place quite often.”등이 있다.
A:Do you come to this restaurant often? B:Yes, you can say I'm a regular here.
A:Really? How often do you come here? B:Oh, maybe four times a week. A:Wow! That's a lot.
B:Yeah, I really like this place.
A:이 식당에 자주 오니? B:응,말하자면 단골이지.
A:그래? 얼마나 자주 여기 오는데? B:아,1주일에 네번 정도. A:와! 아주 자주네.
