아직 논란의 소지가 있는 문제를 기정사실화해 논점을 흐리는 것을 가리키는 표현입니다.

A: Are you saying that we need to hire more people for market research in France?

B: Yes, it could help us understand the whole European market.

A: Look. I understand you want to discuss how to improve sales in France but that begs the question of whether we even want to be trying to sell in such an unpromising market.

B: Oh, not again. I though we were on the same page about that question.

A: 프랑스 시장 조사를 위해 인력을 더 고용하자는 말인가?

B: 네. 그렇게 하면 전 유럽 시장을 이해하는 데도 도움이 될 겁니다.

A: 이봐. 자네가 프랑스에서 판매율을 높이려는 건 알겠지만 그렇게 가능성이 희박한 시장을 우리가 꼭 뚫어야만 하는지 아직 확실치 않네.

B: 또 그 말씀이세요? 전 그 문제는 합의된 줄 알고 있었는데요.
