자신의 일에 참견하는 사람에게 "당신 일이나 신경쓰세요. " 라고 할 수 있는데, 영어로는 "Mind your own business." 라고 한다.

가령 "Don't interfere. Please mind your own business." 하면 "참견하지 마세요. 당신 일이나 신경쓰세요. " 가 되며, "I know what I'm doing. I wish you would mind your own business." 하면 "제가 다 알아서 합니다.

당신 일이나 신경쓰시면 좋겠군요. " 가 된다.

"Mind your own business." 와 비슷한 표현에 "Stay out of my business." "It's none of your business." "My business is no concern of yours." 등이 있다.

B:I let her go today.

A:Why did you do that?

B:I wasn't happy with her work.
