사람에 따라 입맛은 제각각이다.

“이 음식은 제 입맛에 맞지 않습니다.”에 해당하는 영어 표현에“This food is not to my taste.”가 있다.

가령,“This food is not to my taste. I'd rather not eat it.”하면“이 음식은 입맛에 맞지 않아요.먹지 않겠어요.”가 되며,“This food is not to my taste. I can't finish it.”하면“이 음식은 제 입맛에 맞지 않아요,다 못 먹겠어요.”가 된다.

“This food is not to my taste.”와 비슷한 표현에“This food is not to my liking.”“I don't like this food.”등이 있다.

참고로,“나는 내장탕에 입맛을 들였다.”라고 하려면 “I have acquired a taste for naejangtang.”이라고 하면 된다.
