A:How was the rest of meeting go yesterday? I had to leave early for family matter.

B:Oh, you missed the best part. Things got really hot between Ivan and Julie.

A:Really? I'm sorry I missed that. What happened? Did they have a brawl over something?

B:Yaah. They had an argument about who will be the president of student council next semester. Everyone thinks Julie is the best person for the job. Ivan probably doesn't know that.

A:You know Ivan, don't you? He's always calling a goose a swan.

A:어제 회의 뒷부분 어떻게 됐어? 난 집에 일이 있어서 일찍 나와야 했어.

B:어, 너 아주 아까운 부분을 놓쳤어. 이반과 줄리 사이에 엄청난 설전이 있었거든.

A:그래? 그걸 못보다니 아쉽다. 무슨 일이 있었는데? 무슨 논쟁이라도 있었던 거야?

B:응. 다음 학기에 누가 학생회 회장이 될 것인지를 놓고 논쟁을 벌였어. 다들 줄리가 가장 적당하다고 생각하는데. 이반은 그걸 모르나 봐.

A:이반은 늘 그렇잖아. 언제나 검은 것을 희다고 우긴다니까.
