A:I hear Jenny has just run away from home and now she stays at Kelly's apartment.

B:Well, she has kept the family at arm's length for quite a while since she got an earful from her parents when she quit school without telling them.

A:Still, what's family for, if you don't care for one another?

B:If you were in her shoes, you wouldn't dare say anything like that. Her inner tension nearly exploded when her parents decided to get divorced for their own troubles. I heard first hand from her that she couldn't care less for them and she even considered suicide.

A:제니가 집을 나와서 켈리네 집에 머물고 있대.

B:부모님께 알리지도 않고 학교를 그만둔 뒤 한 소리 들은 후로는 한 동안 가족과 거리를 두며 지냈지.
