'예사로 ~하다''거리낌없이 ~하다'라고 할 때 쓸 수 있는 표현에 have no bones about~이 있다.가령“He has no bones about telling lies.”라고 하면“그는 예사로 거짓말을 한다.”라는 뜻이며,“He has no bones about telling lies. Nobody can trust him.”하면“그는 거리낌없이 거짓말을 한다.아무도 그를 믿지 않는다.”가 된다.“He makes no bones about telling lies.”와 비슷한 표현에“He lies without compunction.”“He has no scruples about lying.”등이 있다.참고로 거짓말쟁이를 나타내는 표현은 많은데“He's a habitual liar.”(그는 상습적인 거짓말쟁이다),“He's a bold-faced liar.”(그는 뻔뻔스런 거짓말쟁이다.),“He's an inveterate liar.”(그는 만성적인 거짓말쟁이다.)등이 있다.
