직역하면 그런 수고까지 할 필요가 없다는 의미로, 상대방에게 "됐어" 또는 "괜찮아"란 뜻으로 말할 때 쓰는 표현입니다.

A:Does Peter know the next meeting is put off until next Monday?
B:Well…, wasn't he there at the last meeting?
A:No, he was out of town for a conference or something. Do I have to call and let him know that?
B:Don't bother. He will find out anyway.
A:You're right. It's not my duty to organize every detail for this project.
B:Of course not. Peter should know well enough to confirm his schedule himself.

A:피터가 우리 회의 다음 월요일로 연기된 거 아나?
B:글쎄…, 지난번 회의 때 없었나?
A:없었어. 회의 때문인가 빠졌었잖아. 내가 전화해서 알려줘야 할까?
B:됐어. 본인이 알아서 확인하겠지.
A:맞아. 이 프로젝트의 모든 걸 다 내가 일일이 확인해야 하는 건 아니니까.
B:당연하지. 피터도 자신의 일정은 직접 확인할 줄 알아야 돼.
