바쁠 때나 늦은 시간에 전화를 받으면 "지금 통화하기 곤란해. " 라고 할 수 있는데, 영어로는 "You're calling me at a bad time." 이라고 한다.

가령 "You're calling me at a bad time.Why don't you call tomorrow?" 하면 "지금 통화하기 곤란해. 내일 전화하는 게 어때?" 가 되며, "You're calling me at a bad time. I'm very busy now." 하면 "지금 통화하기 곤란해. 지금 아주 바쁜데. " 가 된다.

"You're calling me at a bad time." 과 비슷한 표현에 "You're calling at a bad time." "I can't talk right now." "I have to get off the phone." 등이 있다.
