말을 하다가 특정 이름이나 단어가 생각이 나지 않을 경우가 많습니다. 말이 혀 끝에서 뱅뱅 도는 경우인데, 영어로는 "It's on the tip of my tongue. It doesn't ring a bell"이라고 합니다.

A:So do I. Do you remember the name of the actress who played a leading role in that movie?
B:Oh, I used to know it. Her name is just on the tip of my tongue.
A:어젯밤에 TV에서 좋은 영화를 봤어.
B:뭔데.
A:바람과 함께 사라지다.
B:바람과 함께 사라지다? 역사상 최고의 영화 아냐?
A:나도 그렇게 생각해. 그런데 주연 여배우 기억나?
B:아, 옛날에 알았는데. 생각이 날듯 말 듯 안 나네.
