A:일정을 말해줄게.받아적을 준비를 해.
B:준비됐어.
A:3월28일 오후5시에 라스베이거스로 떠날거야.비행기는 AA29편이야.
B:호텔이름은 뭐니? A:Luxor야.
A:Anica, how about lending me your psychology notes? B:Why should Ihelp you if you never take notes? A:Come on, help me just this once.
A:Anica,심리학 과목 필기한 것 좀 빌려줄래? B:넌 필기라고는 전혀 하지도 않는데 왜 내가 너를 도와줘야 하지? A:그러지 말고,이번 딱 한번만 도와줘.
「take」가 여기서는 「적어두다.(write down),기록하다(record)」의 뜻으로 쓰였다.무언가를 받아 적으라는말을 할 때 「take notes」라고 표현한다.
